We opened our doors on November 10th, 2002 and Creative Way USA took off like a rocket.
It really took us by surprise.
People have asked us to put up the website even though it is not even close to being finished. We hope to have most of the pages finished by the end of the year.
Next year (and its only a few short weeks away) we will be setting up interactive and service type
features such as forums, search services, classifieds, city directories, city calendars, artist directories, artist calendars
and many others.

One of the things we would very much like to encourage is collaborative works between artists from different
genres. As an example, a musician may want to ask a member fine artist to create a CD cover or a
fine artist may feature the music from one of our members on our page. Poetry can be combined with music and art.
There are so many collaborative possiblities!
Be sure to bookmark this page and check back often. This website is a work in progress and
it grows quickly, especially since we are getting a great response. The word is spreading fast!
Music
We welcome musicians, music production specialists and music instructors of all types,
skills and ages.
Right now our main focus is on building up a really comprehensive directory for the music area.
You can also read about the music programs we envision on our main music page.
We have started the Creative Way Member Showcase Gallery, in which every paid member of
These are ready to go website templates that members can add their pictures and Internet
music files to. You can read more about the Showcase Gallery on our main music page.
You can also check out one of our member musician's gallery pages.

Fine Arts
We welcome fine artists, fine art production specialists and fine art instructors of all types,
skills and ages.
Our plans for the fine arts include establishing fine artist gallery pages on our website, a comprehensive
directory, fine art educational services, workshops, seminars, publications and community exhibitions.
There will be sections on our website that are devoted to teaching fine artists how to use
and make the most of Internet technology, plus live workshops in various cities as we build up our programs.
We will also be running Fine Arts Awards programs and grants programs.
This genre includes dance, theater, improvisation, comedy, and the many other forms of theater performances that exist.
We have several goals for this area, including having a calendar of performing arts for each city, showcase pages for upcoming shows,
workshops, a directory of performing arts organizations and educational organizations.
Literary Arts
The literary arts include prose, technical writing, poetry, fiction and non-fiction works.
Some of our goals include creating electronic publications such as e-books that feature our member's work,
literary awards programs, and showcase pages for our members.
We encourage collaborative works between the different forms of art, for example, this page belongs to one of
our members and is a collaboration between the poet, a fine artist and a flash designer. When you arrive at this
page, click on the Flash Version link. Click Here to see the Sample.
Graphic Arts
Everywhere you look, you will see the graphic artists at work. Commercials, posters, logos, advertising designs,
art for websites - these are all in the realm of the graphic arts.
Again, our plans include creating member directories for graphic artists and encouraging collaborations.
As well, we would like to offer e-publications, workshops and other information for graphic artists to help them become
more successful.
Digital Arts
Included in this category are artists that work with computer technologies such as Adobe Illustrator, Bryce 3D, Corel Photopaint
and the many other digital applications that are available to work with.
We also want to feature web oriented arts, such as web design, flash, animations and all the many forms of art and technologies that
go into web and digital presentations.
Media Arts
Film, video, multimedia and related technologies belong to the Media arts category.
One of our goals in this area is to get community access T.V. programming really working for artists of all genres
and being popular with the local communities they serve.
There is plenty of room for ideas in this area though. Do you have ideas on what kind of programs we should be looking at
developing?
Non-Artists
We don't think there is really any such category but we know that people do think of themselves this way.
Being an audience is a form of creativity. Audiences contribute their own energy to performances and
exhibitions right with the artists.
A responsive audience can be a tremendous source of inspiration.
There is nothing quite like a concert where the audience is
creating - the response is tremendous and everyone at that show experiences the power, energy and
sheer excitement of a shared creation.
Some people think that they are "just" business people. We beg to differ. This is not a fine art, but it
certainly is a creative art. It takes hard work and plenty of creativity to build up a business.
For communities, we are setting up the City Directory Project. You can read about it at this link:
City Directory Project
It is our hope that more people in general will become involved in the creative arts. Working together,
we can all push towards a more creative way of living our lives and enjoy the benefits that come from
having active and vital communities that are alive with art and creativity.
Final Thoughts
We want you to know that you are welcome in our organization. We would like you to be a part of it.
We thank you for coming to this website and for your support, large or small.
Do you know someone that should know about Creative Way USA?
We are looking for artists, musicians,
designers, creative people in general, art instructors,
music instructors, people who love art, people who
donate to arts organizations, and so on.
Spread the word! Sign up as a member! Get involved! The rewards are tremendous for you, your
community and for all of us.
